PGDFME at GTU, Ahmedabad

Kochi, July 4, 2013: Centre For Financial Services, The Gujarat Technological University has invited applications for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Entrepreneurship of Academic Year 2013-14.
Entry-level qualifications for admissions:
Two-year Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from any recognized university from India/Abroad - OR -
Any Post Graduate Courses from recognized university in India/Abroad including PGDM approved by AICTE/AIU - OR - Bachelor Degree from recognized university with minimum 3 years of practical experience in Financial Sector - OR - CA/CS/ICWA.

Admission forms will be accepted at GTU (Chandkheda Campus) from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm by paying Demand Draft of Rs.500/- in favor of “Gujarat Technological University, Ahmedabad.”

Ph.D at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has invited applications for its Ph.D. programme in Basic Sciences commencing on September 2, 2013 under the aegis of HBNI.
Selection Process :
Selection for the Ph.D. programme is a two-step process:
Screening for Physical and Chemical Sciences shall be on the basis of the rank obtained/marks scored in the UGC-CSIR-JRF NET. Screening for Life Sciences shall be on the basis of the rank obtained / marks scored in the UGC-CSIR-JRF NET or similar NET conducted by the DBT, ICAR or ICMR. Additional criteria based on previous academic performance in the MSc and/or BSc examinations may be used for screening.
Short-listed candidates shall be called for interview to be conducted in second half of July, 2013 at the BARC Training School, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai - 400 094.
Applicants called for interview will not be paid any train / bus fare.
Eligibility
a. Qualifying Degree and other academic qualifications:
Those having M.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Biology or related science subjects with minimum 60%* marks in M.Sc. as well as in B.Sc. are eligible to apply. *A minimum of 60% marks means the marks as per the ordinances of the respective university.
