The Union Public Service Commission has notified the Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services Examination, 2013. The Examination will be held on 26th May, 2013 at Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Aligarh, Allahabad, Aurangabad, Bangalore, Bareilly, Bhopal, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Jorhat, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mumbai, Nagpur ,Panaji (Goa), Patna, Puducherry, Port Blair, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar,Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Udaipur, and Vishakhapatnam.

Nationality: For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India. For other services also, the applicant must be a citizen of India, generally. Age: Applicant must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2013.
