CEE: THIRD PHASE ALLOTMENT PUBLISHED

The activities relating to third phase of allotment to Professional Degree Courses 2011 commenced on 24.08.2011. Provision was given for re-arrangement/ registration of new options from 24th August  to  26th August. Based on the options registered till 5 pm on 26th August 2011, the third allotment is published on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.  The details of allotment will be available on the home page of the candidate. The candidates can take print out of the allotment memo. Those candidates who receive allotment shall remit the fees/additional fee/ deposit as specified in their home  page at designated branches of  State Bank of Travancore (SBT) on 31.08.2011, 01.09.2011 or 02.09.2011 in order to accept the allotment. The list of  SBT branches is available on  www.cee-kerala.org. Those candidates who have remitted fees based on previous allotments/received college or course change in this allotment/those who received new allotments in this phase shall report for admission in the respective colleges on  01.09.2011 or 02.09.2011. 

CUSAT BTech Spot Counseling on september 2

Admission of wait-listed candidates is scheduled on 02/09/2011 to fill up a few B.Tech seats remaining vacant under various categories. The details of the tentative vacancy position is avialbale on the website. The actual vacancy can change during the course of the allotment process on 02/09/2011. The allotment will be made based on the CAT rank and the options submitted by the students.

Candidates who are currently in the waiting list* and with a CAT rank in the range indicated below should report for registration before 10.30 AM on the 02/09/2011. Only the registered will be considered for allotment. Candidates who do not report for registration/ report late will be removed from the waiting lists and will NOT be considered for further allotment/admissions.
Students should report with all the relevant documents in original and required fee in full. B.Tech Marine Engineering applicants should bring medical fitness certificate. Late comers will not be considered under any circumstances.

As per the revised schedule for admission to Professional Colleges after the third allotment to be announced on 30th August 2011, candidates have to join the colleges concerned on September 1 or September 2 as per the schedule given below.

CEE:Third Phase allotment process from 24-08-2011

The activities relating to the third Phase of Allotment to Professional Degree Courses 2011 will begin on  24.08.2011. Facility will be opened for candidates to re-arrange higher options, delete unwanted options and to register options to newly started Courses and Colleges from 24.08.2011 to 26.08.2011 on the official website  www.cee.kerala.gov.inThe third phase of allotment will be published on 30.08.2011 based on the options registered till 5 pm on 26.08.2011. Candidates who receive allotment in this third phase will have to remit the fee/additional fee/deposit at the designated branches of SBT on 31.08.2011, 01.09.2011 or 02.09.2011. The list of SBT branches is given on the website  www.cee-kerala.org. Those candidates who have remitted the fees can join the colleges from 31.08.2011 to 03.09.2011.

MCA 2011 - Entrance Exam Results Published

The  provisional rank list of candidates who  have appeared  for the  Entrance Examination for admission to the  MCA  Course 2011, conducted on  14.08.2011 is published.
The rank list will be available in the website www.cee-kerala.org of Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The details of Allotment to the course will be notified by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations in due course.


HC Permits CEE to continue the allotment process

The Division Bench of the Kerala High Court today removed the stay imposed by it two days back on the engineering admission process of the Entrance Commissioner and closed the appeal. When the court was informed that the petitioner student has already joined a private self financing college at Vazhakkulam, the Division Bench headed by the Chief Justice J Chalameswar observed that then there is no merit in proceeding with the appeal.

KEAM II phase Allotment published

The second phase of allotment to Professional Degree Courses, Kerala for 2011 will be announced on August 16, 2011.This will be the second allotment to MBBS, will also be the first allotment to the Engineering Coursses. 
Allotments to the Government seats in Government Controlled Self financing Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges, those in Private Self financing Medical and Dental Colleges and those in a Private Self financing Sidha College have not been included in the second phase of allotment. Options had not been invited for BAMS Course in Government/Aided and Private Self financing Ayurveda Colleges in the second phase.  
Candidates getting allotted/re-allotted in the second phase will have to remit the fee/caution deposit, as applicable to their allotment, in one of the notified branches of SBT as per the list o be made available at www.cee.kerala.gov.in, between 17th and 19th August 2011. The fee to be remitted will be notified in the allotment memo to be made available in the Home Page of the candidate. Candidates have to download this allotment memo. 
Candidates getting allotment for MBBS/BDS have to join the allotted college on 18th or 19th of August 2011 as per the notification dated 5th August 2011 of the CEE. The date of joining for those allotted to other colleges has not been announced so far.

Kerala Entrance (KEAM 2011) Trial allotment

kerala KEAM 2011, trial allotment will be published on aug 10  taking into account the options registered upto 5pm on aug 9. Candidates can adjust their options according to their choice till Aug 12. First allotment( Second for Medical) will be on Aug 16.

IIM CAT 2011: Apply from August 17

Indian Institutes of Management announced the highlights of the Common Admission Test 2011 (CAT 2011). Prometric, trusted provider of market-leading test development and test delivery solutions, is IIMs’ partner in developing and delivering CAT 2011.
The CAT 2011 will have only two sections instead of three. The first section will focus on Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation; the second on Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning. These two sections will be implemented sequentially with separate time limits. The examination will be 140 minutes. Candidates will have 70 minutes to answer 30 questions within each section which will have an on-screen countdown timer. Once the time ends for the first section, they will move to the second and will no longer be able to go back. Although new in the computer-based version of CAT, this format was previously practiced in some of the earlier paper-and-pencil years.

The activities related to the second phase of allotment to Professional Degree Courses for the year 2011-12 will commence on  05.08.2011 (Friday). This will be the second allotment to Government Medical Colleges in the State and first allotment to other courses. Candidates included under various rank lists can register their options on the website  www.cee.kerala.gov.in from  05.08.2011 till 5 pm on  12.08.2011.Candidates who do not register their options will not be considered for allotment under any circumstances. The “Option Facilitation Centres” [OFC] and “Help Desks” [HD], having internet facility, will be functioning throughout the State during this period for registration of options by the candidates. Kerala Engg allotment notification on Friday

The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations will issue the notification for the first engineering allotment only on Friday (August 5).  This is on account of some clarifications that is needed from the Government.
Along with the engineering first allotment proceedings, the second medical allotment proceedings too will be launched and an exhaustive notification in this regard will be issued on Friday. The notification will detail the option registration and allotment schedule for the engineering and medical courses.

Allotment for engineering admission would be launched by August 10

The proceedings for the first round allotment for engineering admission would be launched by August 10. The Education Minister P.K.Abdu Rabb told that the Government Order (GO) validating the agreement reached between the State Government and the Kerala Self-Financing Engineering College Management Association (KSFECMA), will be out in two days and the proceedings for the first allotment would be launched by August 10. He said the first allotment was scheduled to be launched in the first week of August and his department was working to materialise things as early as possible.
