CUSAT CAT: Online Regn from Jan 20

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the various academic programmes of the University for the academic year 2013-14. Admission to various courses are based on Common Admission Test (CAT)/Departmental Admission Test (DAT)/Test for Lateral Entry (LET) and C-MAT score for MBA. Only on-line registration will be considered for all academic programmes of the University except M.Phil courses, Ph.D Programmes, M.A. Translation in German/Russian and Diploma/Certificate programmes. KEAM 2012: Trial Allotment Published

The trial allotment preceding the first allotment to Professional Degree Courses, Kerala, will be announced today .The trial allotment will give an indication of the chances for allotments based on the options registered by students till 10 am on 6th July, 2012. 
The first allotment is to be announced on 12th July,2012. Candidates getting an allotment in the first round allotment to be announced on 12th July, 2012, will have to remit the fee/amount as stated in their allotment memo, at one of the branches of State Bank of Travancore on 13th, 14th or 16th of July 2012, to accept the allotment. Candidates will not be required to join the course as of now. The date of joining will be announced, only after a few rounds of allotment, it is expected.

CEE-Engineering Rank list will be published

The Kerala Engineering Rank List 2012, prepared by equal weighatge for the marks in the Engineering Entrance Examination and the Standardized marks of the three science subjects will be released on 25th June, 2012. This is the second time in Kerala, that the marks in the three science subjects of the Qualifying Examination (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry /Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology) are also considered for preparing the Engineering Rank list.

KEAM: OPTION REGN FROM TODAY

The Registration options in connection with the allotment to Professional Degree Courses, Kerala, for 2012-13 will commence on 21.6.2012.
Those included in the Medical Rank list, candidates who have qualified in the Engineering Entrance Examination and submitted their mark sheet for the preparation of Engineering Rank list and those who have submitted their NATA score and marks of Qualifying examination for preparation of Architecture Rank list can register options at the site www.cee.kerala.gov.in till 3 pm on 5.7.2012.

GOVT SF ENGG FEE RAISED FROM 20,000 TO 35,000

In an unexpected move the government of Kerala has increased the annual tuition fee for the 50 pc Government seats in Government Controlled and University Controlled Self financing Engineering Colleges for 2012-13 . Now the fee has been fixed at Rs.35000/-. The existing annual tuition fee in Government seats in Government/University Controlled Self financing Engineering Colleges is Rs.20000/- In the 35% Management seats in these college to be allotted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, the existing fee of Rs.65000/- will continue.
