Registration for CUSAT CAT from jan 20

The Online registration for the Common Admission Test (CAT) of Cochin University for Science and Technology (CUSAT) for 2013-14 admissions will commence at www.cusat.nic.in on 20th January, 2013. Admissions to the various courses at CUSAT are based on CAT/Departmental Admission Test (DAT)/Test for Lateral Entry (LET) and C-MAT Score for MBA.
CAT for BTech Programmes in Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Information Technology, Safety and Fire, Mechanical, Ship Technology, Marine, Polymer Science & Engineering, Instrumentation, 5 year Integrated M.Sc Photonics, MA Hindi, 5 year BBA.LL.B (Hons), B.Com LL.B, MA Applied Economics and Dual Degree Programmes in MIP Ph.D and LL.M(IPR) Ph.D will be held on 12th May, 2013 (Sunday)

CUSAT CAT: Online Regn from Jan 20

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the various academic programmes of the University for the academic year 2013-14. Admission to various courses are based on Common Admission Test (CAT)/Departmental Admission Test (DAT)/Test for Lateral Entry (LET) and C-MAT score for MBA. Only on-line registration will be considered for all academic programmes of the University except M.Phil courses, Ph.D Programmes, M.A. Translation in German/Russian and Diploma/Certificate programmes. Cusat MTech Admission on oct 5th

Admissions to the M.Tech Wireless Technology course 2012 conducted by the Department of Electronics, Cochin University of Science and Technology will be held at the department office on 5th October at 10.30 am.
The selected candidates shall report in the department at the specified time give in their memo with all certificates.

All the reservation category students in this list are to report on the 28th of June before 10.00 AM with all documents in original and course fee. Original communal and income certificates, wherever necessary, are to be produced for availing reservation benefit.
All the general category students in this list are to report for admission on the 29th of June before 10.00 AM with all documents in original and course fee.

The venue of all counsellings is Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering, Main Campus, Trikkakara.

CUSAT CAT RESULTS OUT

The results of the Common Admission Test Conducted by the Cochin University of Science  and Technology has been announced.  Candidates can input their Roll No to see their CAT rank by visiting the website http://iraaa.cusat.ac.in or www.cusat.ac.in
This year, the Common Admission Test was conducted at 81 venues across India. More than 38, 000 thousand students, including the aspirants for PG courses, had applied for the admission test. For the first time, PG tests were conducted in Delhi and Calcutta.  In the first Phase of CAT that was conducted on the 5th of May more than 12000 B.Tech aspirants appeared for the test.  The second phase was conducted on the 10th of June in Kerala. The option registration for UG and PG course are currently on and will be closed on the 20th of June at 4.00 pm.  The first allotment will be published on the 21st June 2012 at 4.00 pm.  The counseling will start on the 28th of June 2012.
