Sports Scholarships from Indian Oil

OBJECTIVES

The objective of this scheme to award IndianOil Sports Scholarships to promising young players with a view to encourage talent and create a pool of sportspersons from whom to select sport appointees to the Corporation.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Age: Scholarship will be given to upcoming players between the ages of 14 to 19 years.

Category: There will be two categories of scholarship: 'Elite Scholar' and 'Scholar'

Elite Scholar: Team Games - Representing the country. Individual Games - National ranking between 1 to 5 in Juniors or Sub-Juniors category or semi-finalist / Finalists of national championships.

Scholar: Team Games - Representing the state team.

Individual Games: National ranking between 6 to 15 in Juniors or Sub-Juniors category or quarter-finalist of national championships.

KEAM 2012: Trial Allotment Published

The trial allotment preceding the first allotment to Professional Degree Courses, Kerala, will be announced today .The trial allotment will give an indication of the chances for allotments based on the options registered by students till 10 am on 6th July, 2012. 
The first allotment is to be announced on 12th July,2012. Candidates getting an allotment in the first round allotment to be announced on 12th July, 2012, will have to remit the fee/amount as stated in their allotment memo, at one of the branches of State Bank of Travancore on 13th, 14th or 16th of July 2012, to accept the allotment. Candidates will not be required to join the course as of now. The date of joining will be announced, only after a few rounds of allotment, it is expected.
